Welcome To Sholai School

Green school deeply inspired by J Krishnamurti

The function of education is to help you from childhood not to imitate anybody, but be yourself all the time

True education is to learn how to think, not what to think

“To understand life is to understand ourselves, and that is both the beginning and the end of education” – J Krishnamurthi

School from the vision of J.Krishnamurti.

Education in the true sense is helping the individual to be mature and free, to flower greatly in love and goodness. That is what we should be interested in, and not in shaping the child according to some idealistic pattern

It seems to me that right education is to help the student to be free because it is only in freedom you can be creative

Intelligence is the capacity to perceive the essential, the what is and to awaken this capcity in oneself and in others is education

As a young man, he often wondered why there was so much disparity between rich and poor. When he grew up, he was greatly moved by the teachings and philosophy of J Krishnamurti. His experiences in life, studies and ideals led him to become an educator. In an exclusive interview with My Indian Dream, the intellectual Mr. Brian Jenkins, shares his views on education, his school and the problem of food wastage in India.
